My four best beauty sustainability tips
Here are some practical tips that can easily be incorporated into your beauty routine, making it more sustainable.
- Multitasking makeup for the win: Save on products and packaging using multi-use products. One product to do your lips, cheeks and eyes is also more cost-effective and a space saver!
- Find products with recyclable packaging, or that use recycled material, or that allow you to refill.
- Find eco-friendly and ethically made products made in small batches. For example, shampoo and conditioner bars are more sustainable than liquid shampoo and conditioner.
- Use up what you have! Don't just throw out products you no longer like. Make use of them! That lipstick shade you no longer want to wear – mix it up with another shade to make it brand new.
